Database Management
Loren Anderson has done many web projects using SQL Server and MS Access. He is proficient with database design and management as well as designing queries with sql. Loren has several websites designed that draw data from databases that can be edited and modified from a "back end" admin section built directly into the website. Below are some some examples.
ShiftGrabber.com is a website that Loren Anderson designed in partnership with Mitchell Greenblatt. ShiftGrabber.com is a website that allows large business employees to sign up and share work shifts with one another. On ShiftGrabber.com employess can browse available shifts in the their area and post work shifts that they'd like to get covered by other regional employees. Loren did the complete design for the layout, database, web forms, and style sheets. He was soley in charge of the technical side of ShiftGrabber.com. The ShiftGrabber.com database is run by SQLServer.
A branch off of nwpaintballseries.com is a utility Loren Anderson has made to keep track of paintball players, teams, and tournaments in the Northwest. To build the NWID Loren used ASP.NET technology and VB.NET with MS Access. The website is dynamic and driven from a populated database. It uses forms for visitors to submit information which can be approved, edited, or deleted through a very complete admin section.
Note: This website was made by Loren Anderson to the specifications of the website's owner.
Loren worked with the owners of TheGPL.com to create paintballid.com. Paintballid.com is a website similar to The NWID system. It tracks and classifies paintball players based on their experience. All of the data, which is stored in a MS Access Database can be edited in an admin section.
