Paintball

History

I first played paintball when I was too young to think right. After this first time at Bill and Jim's indoor field, I took a several year break. In later high school and few friends and myself took a trip to KC Crusaders paintball in Sumner, WA where I instantly fell in love. Back then it was Tippmanns and rec ball in the woods. I really miss the days of playing with my high school buds on Saturdays.

When I went to WWU I took a short break, but got back into it. The closest decent public field was Doodlebug in Everett where I started learning to play speedball. After some time I created a team with two guys there called Triple Threat. After one tournament, I parted ways with one teammate and went to another team with the other, Dave. This new team, Rampage, had sponsorships and made the cost of playing drop significantly. Rampage and its sister teams all under Crave-It played the '04-'05 NWPS and our team did really well in the rookie. After the NWPS ended, the team kind of fell apart and Dave went to CDR. I worked and didn't play paintball for the summer, then joined CDR in August of '05.

CDR is my current team. With CDR I stepped up to the open class for local events and D1 Xball for national events. I have done both NWPS and FPS local tournament series as well as national PSP events. With CDR I have had the experience of a lifetime. We have traveled all over the country. The team has stayed in ghetto hotels with bullets flying over our head and slept in comfortable beds in Newport Beach, CA, a stone's throw from the beach. We've slept 4 to a bed and we all protect one another with out paintball guns fighting again the country's most vicious paintball players.
